Open since 1962, the theatre is one of the longest, continually-running, live theatres in the states of Mississippi. It seats 136 and puts on five productions annually. Productions include comedies, dramas, musicals, and children’s shows.
Sardis AprilFest and Open Car Show
Located on Main Street, the festival includes food vendors, door prizes, awards, arts and crafts, and an open car show with many makes and models of vehicles. The Car Show is organized by local Mississippi Delta Street Rodders. Visit the Sardis Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for more information
Held on the weekend after Mother’s Day, this annual music festival is free to the public. Two-days of carnival rides and games, music, and food are held in the Square. A portion of the carnival proceeds are donated to the Batesville Main Street Program. A 5K is held the Saturday morning of SpringFest. Registration is available at www.racesonline.com. St. Jude Bass Classic

Square Market is a community market offering local produce, fresh baked goods and various canned items. The market is open on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m from the first Wednesday in June through the last Wednesday in October. A section of the market is dedicated to arts and crafts. Showoff on the Square Open Car Show
An open car show is held in downtown Batesville each fall. The 2018 event will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Mississippi Delta Street Rods handle the vehicle registration. Our organization assists by soliciting food vendors and selling event t-shirts that day. Scare on the Square

Holiday Open House
Held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the Open House features live entertainment, carriage rides, photos with Santa, a Christmas Bazaar, and more. The Train to Christmas Town
Based on the beloved children’s book, the Train to Christmas Town, our holiday ride recreates on board the storybook tale that is sure to become a family favorite tradition!
